Miller Gaffney '02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau '03 are hosting "Art Breakers"," that premieres on Sunday night on the Ovation cable channel. The show is a look at their lives as art brokers who connect collectors, buyers and artists. Four episodes were filmed by the two and will air through October. They'll air on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 7 pm Central. Ovation hosts nearly 50MM subscribers. They also help artists via the OvationDigital Arts Network. They are hoping to get permission to continue filming in the near future. The people and the friends I made at Baylor have most certainly changed my life and have influenced it. Karen Pope, Art History Department. I was a student in a number of my classes in my major with Dr. Pope, and traveled with her to Paris and Chicago to study art. Her passion for art made it an enjoyable experience. She also mentioned that "Art history is like the puzzle. And as art historians, we try to find the pieces that can be put together." My family was brought up in the automotive industry by my dad, and was required to work in the dealership every summer. One summer I was an assistant mechanic who changed brake pads and oil.
